If you've been rocking with The Corner Radio for a minute then you know the convo part of the show has always come in the middle of the mix to try to emulate my good ole days when I used to host Morgan State's hip hop radio show back in the 90's. But about 2 shows ago I threw 2 Adele songs in the mix and Sony Records came at my neck and I now have 2 strikes of copyright infrindgement against my soundcloud account and since I'm not trying to get a 3rd and lose my account, The Corner Radio is gonna have to switch to a regular podcast format of just talk. To me this is just another example of how fucked up the game is now cause it wasn't like I wasn't selling the mixes or make any money off the songs I was spinning, I was just showing love to the artists but I guess "showing love" in 2016 in now copyright infrinement. But never to be the one to let "the man" shut me down so I'll be doing a biweekly FREE mixtape for cats to still bang out to that ya'll can grab from my Bandcamp page starting next week.
And with all that said, for the newest episode The Corner Radio, I'm chopping it up with my peoples JR, Yaw and Gregg about what are our top 5 movie soundtracks of all time and what are some of our slept on soundtracks. Trust...even without the mix, it's STILL another dope ep ya'll!
